All,
I just took the lab the other day and you do have access to the
configuration guides. I was also able to access one example I needed. But, if
you’re depending that much on docs then I would suggest you keep studying. I
did about 90% of the lab without docs then jump on for the last 10% just to
confirm some things. You really don’t have time to look at docs and kind of
figure it out, it is a timed test after all.

Aaron,

You mean I wouldn`t have access to "Troubleshooting and alerts" or "Reference
guide", do you?

From the configure tab then products, after you select what you want you`ll be
redirect to another window where you can see other links like the one I listed
above.
For instance to get information for Selective packet discard, I should click on
troubleshooting and alerts.

I got confused

The first time i sat for the lab, the ENTIRE configuration examples section was
blocked. I was a little taken aback and asked the proctor about this. He was
pretty annoyed that i destroyed his Halo kill-streak when i disturbed him and
he said that configuration examples are blocked by cisco in the ccie-lab. I
don't think this is true because, if i recall correctly Yusuf mentioned
somewhere that the config examples and guides were available.

When i sat my lab recently, i found that the config examples section was open
and one could access all of them. I could even access the "end-user" for the
ACS.
