I want my scenario as follows :

                                   GNS3 ------------> MY PC(Physical
machine) ------------> VM (Windows 2000)
                                   GNS3 <-----------  MY PC (Phyical
machine)  <----------- VM (Windows 2000)

i have windows 7 machine. i am able to connect my pc to gns3 as cloud c0 and
didn some labs . now i want to do some ACS authentication and authorization
labs. Since ACS 4.2 cannot install on windows 7 , i did a vm of windows 2000
and installed ACS in that windows 2000. So i have following stuff with me :

1> GNS3 connected to my physical PC. (working fine )
2> Windows 2000 w/t Cisco ACS 4.2 on a virtual machine residing on my
physical PC (working fine )

I have connectivity from my physical PC to GNS3 via MS loopback ! And , i
have connectivity from my Physical PC to my Virtual Machine thru VMNET3 Host
adaptor settings.

PROBLEM : " I am unable to ping or trace packets from my GNS 3 routers to my
virtual machine and vice versa"

Notes: i have defined static routes from my VM pointing to GNS 3 Network
via my physical lancard IP as next hop and also the same is done on GNS3
router to get packets back to VM thru physical machine.

the subnet connecting my physical PC to GNS3 is 9.0.0.x/24 where 9.0.0.1 is
router in GNS3 and 9.0.0.9 is my MS Loopback adaptor .

the subnet connecting my physical PC to VM(Windows 2000 with ACS 4.2) is
192.168.12.x/24 , where 192.168.12.1 is my VMNET 3 adaptor IP and
192.168.12.10 is my VM Machine Lancard IP.

All kind of guidance and h3lp is appreciated .....!!!

thanks  KAMRAN.
