no... for instance you might find that the auth keys have been left off on purpose... or maybe an acl you add in one section needs to permit OSPF. for instance, do you add multicast permit ACEs or unicast ones or both?
as a security guy i'm always trying to get to know my routing protocols better. things like DMVPN of course depend on it (OSPF network type, EIGRP split horizon etc).
