You guys can run the PIX “hardware” image in GNS3 up to 8.0.4 code. That’s what I use. Its almost identical to the ASA. For all intensive purposes it is the same for the lab. I have always had trouble with the ASA emulation in GNS3, and the PIX emulation is much faster.
