Hi All
I am trying, I assume like most, to make sure that I am focusing my study on
those areas which are important for the Lab exam.
In doing so, I started wondering about certain technologies and product
features that from what I understand, would not be able to be verified as
working during the lab even if they were asked to be implemented. For example,
WCCP, Websense external web filtering or advanced inspection of VoIP protocols.
From the blueprints, there is no mention of there being access to an external
WCCP or Websense server or there being a Call Manager or IP Phone in the lab.
Because of this, it would be impossible to verify the successful operation of
these technologies if configured without having access these external
components to test with.
I therefore wonder if it is fair to assume that technologies that cannot be
verified as working by the test takers, such as those I mention above, because
of lack of auxiliary equipment/services, will not be tested in the exam and I
should be focusing my study elsewhere.
Can anyone provide any feedback on these thoughts?
