Hi, I took my exam in San Jose (twice) due to seat availability an liked both the facilities and the proctors.
As for the visa my country of origin is part of the visa waiver program, so i just filled a long form online (confirming things such as not being a nazi involved in WW2..) and got the waiver (which doesnt really guarentee entry, they can still deny entry at the border) so i didn't require a visa, and travelled with the exam documentation just in case. Might be of help if your country is in the program. Good luck for your atempt, from your posts on the group I would say you'll ace it!
