Seriously, unless you have some customer requirement to do so, there
is no practical reason to implement RIPv2 these days.  Either EIGRP or
OSPF will offer you far greater convergence times among other things.

If you are looking for Cisco specific and simple I would stick with
EIGRP.  It is somewhat complex to learn about in theory, but in
practice it is simple to configure and pretty easy to troubleshoot.
OSPF is vendor specific as others mentioned, but the nature of it is
very modular and requires you to have a deeper understanding of the
protocol to run it properly and fully understand what is going on.
