Hi Group, I just thought of something while pondering SMTP inspection, and I don't have a way to test this at the moment. My question is regarding *mail-relay * feature within ESMTP type policy-maps. If the policy map gets applied on the outside interface, would the mail-relay entry (e.g. mycompany.com) restrict inbound mail to our internal mail server as well as restrict outbound mail to public mail servers etc? From what I know interface-based policy-maps are for ingress and egress traffic. Just not positive about the mail-relay nuances.
