Hi Piotr,Thank you for your reply. I watched 10 to 15 minutes of the VoDs, (You made an excellent job) I was just wondering what books I should read after the videos, do you have a list of them? Also, do you know how many rack rental hours approximately you need to cover Volume I?Regards,WilberthDate: Sat, 1 Feb 2014 14:02:49 +0100 Subject: Re: [OSL | CCIE_Security] CCIE Security Written and Lab Essentials VoDs / Lab hours From: pio...@ipexpert.com To: wilberth.lemai...@live.com CC: ccie_security@onlinestudylist.com
Hi Wilberth You don't need CCNP stuff - the VoDs you mentioned cover a lot, where the Essential series is more lab-oriented. So I would watch 4.0 VoD first, then Essentials and finally make some reading. Also make sure to read about the topics that are not covered like "Security Policies and Procedures, Best Practices and Standards" section of the blueprint.Regards, Piotr Kaluzny : Sr Instructor : iPexpert CCIE # 25665 :: Security:: World-Class Cisco Certification Training Direct: +1-810-326-1444 :: Free Videos :: Free Training / Product Offerings :: CCIE Blog :: Twitter On Sat, Feb 1, 2014 at 7:42 AM, Wilberth E. Or if I should buy and watch the NP VoDs to get a better understanding? I remember when I read for the first time the CCIE R&S Written Exam Preparation Guide, it was like starting from scratch, this is why I'm asking if these videos will cover all what I need. Based on your experience guys, what do you recommend me to do? Also, how many rack rental hours approximately you need for Volume 1? I'm trying to make a budget for it.
