Dear experts,

Recently I’ve purchased the IPexpert voice BLS. Since I am totally new to
voice I have a lot to learn. I have a beginners problem, but it’s getting
frustrating since I cannot continue with my studies. I have already spend 2x
a proctorlabs vrack session and still cannot fix it. Since next week I have
scheduled other sessions. I was hoping you could give me a little guidance
to get going.

 Problem description:

 - I am using a NEW installed version of CIPC 7.x, since I need to
reinstall the CIPC again and again, since if the problem occurred the image
is set to SIP and I cannot get it to work So I start with a clean install
with SCCP as signaling protocol. CIPC is using SEP00059A3C7800 to register
to to UCM.Since auto-registration is disabled. I need to add the phone
manually (phone type is CIPC and SCCP as signaling protocol) DN=5002 (HQ
Phone 2)-

When I enable the CIPC application and set it to point to the TFTP server
10.10.210.11 and 10.10.210.10 it is downloading a CIPC_locale file and the
phone is transferred to a SIP image.I do not understand why this is
happening. Can it be that it is downloading file by TFTP which says convert
to SIP. If so how can I change this. Even if I would like to change it to
SIP (lab 2 volume 6) I cannot get it working in SIP mode.. the status screen
of the CIPC “TFTP timeout: SEP00059A3C7800.cnf.xml not found” and the
phone sais unprovisioned

So my questions are:

- Why is a clear CIPC install going from SCCP to SIP mode when
accessing the TFTP server and how can I change that (keep it on SCCP).

- Why can’t I get it to work in SIP mode (unprovisioned) and the
status screen of the CIPC “TFTP timeout: SEP00059A3C7800.cnf.xml not found”
.

- Is there a method to change the CIPC client back to SCCP mode
without reinstalling the software

many thanks for the help!
