If any of you are Mac users and wondered if it was possible to install Cisco RTMT on a Mac, I have good news for you. It is possible and very simple. In fact, I installed it on my Mac today and was able to connect to CUCM 7.0.2 and UC 7.0.2 running in VMWare Fusion on my Mac in the "Host Only" mode - no connection to a non-virtual network was necessary.
If you are interested in how to install RTMT on you Mac, follow the steps outlined here: http://www.ciscomonkey.net/2009/10/13/real-time-monitoring-tool-on-mac-os-x The first method of launching RTMT (from Terminal) did not work for me, but the second method (via Apple Script) worked like a charm! I am a happy camper today. I have been looking for a solution to install RTMT on a Mac for over a year now. I hoped ether Mac Ports or Fink would port the RTMT Linux binary available from the Plugins page in CUCM or UC. It appears that no porting is necessary. RTMT runs on a Mac, requiring only minor tweaks.
