IIRC, using BLF speed dial to monitor call park slot status was introduced in CME 7.1. You can use monitor on a line. I just tested this and it appears to work as desired. Here is a sample:
ephone-dn 6 number 1001 no-reg primary park-slot allow watch ! ephone 1 device-security-mode none description SiteC Phone 1 mac-address AAAA.BBBB.CCCC ephone-template 2 type 7961 no dnd feature-ring button 1f1 2c3,4 3m6 ! With the above config, if I initiate a Call Park from any station on the CME button 3 on ephone 1 lights up. The button can also be used to "speed dial" the call park slot.
