In the real world, you can just not use Option 60. I believe this only works on IOS and not Windows DHCP.

As I can only declare an option 60 VCI string once per dhcp scope, how do you ensure that a LAP-1240 and maybe a LAP-1252 discover the ip addresses of some candidate WLCs with they can choose to join. I did not figure this out during the deployment, but I used discovery via DNS instead. The DHCP server was purely for AP ip addressing. I saw some hints in lab 2.3 which mention something to do with manual binding, but isn't manual binding used with client mac? Alvin B.
