Hi again. I was a little bit active today :) and I took the day.
I have some doubts about some tasks for lab 3 3.7: "Clients should also receive a notification to transmit at the same power level". Could be valid "power client local"???, Really you are telling to the client that use the same power level that the AP. 3.7: AP name hidden: In the same way as before, this issue was discussed long time ago; but yesterday searching for a "configuration example for Bridges" I found this document of FAQ in which they talk about how to see the name of the AP for the clients (ACU) and explain that only enabling Aironet extensions, and if you don“t want to see in ACU, simply you disable the extensions. Thoughs??? (second question of troubleshooting FAQ). http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/wireless/ps430/products_qanda_item09186a008009483e.shtml 3.8: Native VLAN, I remember that in other occasions and discussed this issue. Really in repeater mode it only works in my lab when the VLAN in the ethernet and radio interfaces is in the same way (Native), for exalple, if I use dot0.12 with vlan 12 and eth0.12 vlan vlan 12 native the client never does not get an IP address. Best regards.
