Subject: Re: [OSL | CCIE_Wireless] VideoStream Question

According to documentation (the WLC config guide has the best description of
this feature), the violation method in the actual stream config only applies to
the periodic RRC recheck. The one under the Media tab is for the initial RRC
check.

Hi all -

Under each radio in the Media CAC section, you can select "Best Effort QoS
Admission" to simply mark down a VideoStream flow to BE if CAC fails. However,
when you configure the actual media stream you can select a "Traffic Profile
Violation" of either "drop" or "mark down". I'm assuming the Media CAC section
is the global configuration which can be overridden on a per stream basis. Is
that correct? IE – If I don't have "Best Effort QoS Admission" checked in the
Media CAC section, but do set the profile violation to "mark down" for a
specific stream, then it will still be sent as BE upon CAC failure.

Thanks -
