The difficulty with LSC is really how to setup a SCEP solution.
Obviously you did not do that correct.

Setting up the backend server is out of scope for the CCIE Wireless lab
of course.

If it would be in the lab the backend services would be preconfigured
for you and you would only be asked to do the WLC configuration.

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Wireless] CAPWAP Certificates - MIC/SSC/LSC

Hi all,

I'm currently reading about the LAP authentication and authorization
when joining a controller.

I think I understand the differences between the three types of
certificate, and how the authorization process takes place.

I will certainly practice the SSC and MIC authorization against an AAA
server, but I'm wondering about the LSC part.

As it is needed to import an own-built certificate, using a PKI, is it
really requested to practice this? The fact is I just tried to configure
it (I installed the Cert Server on my Windows DC), but I have error
boxes popping just when I check the box "Enable LSC on Controller".

I'm afraid the whole configuration could be complicated, and would take
too much time.

However, if someone can give me a step-by-step configuration procedure,
I'm interested! I tried this one, but it gives me some errors:
