Here's what I do to have labels in ClearCase:
In my project configuration block I have a labeller block with
following contents:
<labeller type="defaultlabeller">
<prefix>BUILD_OK_</prefix>
</labeller>
and then I have label in format <prefix><number_of_build> applied to
source.
Works most of the time, although I run into issue when CC.NET tried to
apply the same label (with the same number), and I got exception. I
haven't investigated it, just manually removed offending label from
ClearCase.
