Hi All,

Here's a question to all CC.NET users and developers!

Should choosing "ABORT" on the Webdash be classed as a build FAILURE
(and email everyone that the build has failed)?

Personally, I would say that if someone has choosen to abort a build,
they have done so for a good reason, understanding that that build
will be terminated and a non-graceful fashion.

Generally, this would be done by Admin because they need to get a new
config file loaded, or because they need to terminate a long process.
In this case, they don't want a bunch of phone calls asking why
everyone is receiving build failed emails.

Or, somone accidently kicked of a build and they don't want to proceed
with it.

Either way, I would say that an aborted build is not the same as a
failed build and shouldn't send out emails (or perhaps only to the
build master if it must be done).

Just my opinion... how do other users feel?

Regards,
Shaun
