Another point which i want to mention is that my IDE is not getting invoked directly from nant.build,but instead nant.build is invoking a .vbs which invokes two .bat files which then invokes my IDE.So i just want to ask u that is this why my nant does not wait for my IDE to complete its execution since it is been called indirectly rather that directly.? Based on your e-mail about file merging I think your problem is with waiting on the IDE. Your Nant script starts the IDE doing a build, but does not wait for it to finish. Therefore the Nant script continues on past calling the IDE and terminates while the IDE is still running. Because Nant finishes, CC.NET <http://cc.net/> assumes everything has finished and it can move onto the next step. One way to test this would be to run your Nant script from the command line and see what happens. If the script is not waiting on the IDE you will see the IDE is still open when the Nant script has finished. Are you able to send us your log file? This is a file called ccnet.log in your application directory. If you don't want to send us your entire log, you could rename your current log, replicate your issue and then send us the log with just that information in it.
