Dear members,
I am trying to use cryo electron microscope images ( of about 9 A
resolution) to build a search model for molecular replacement trials
(against 2.7 A x-ray diffraction data). As, I don’t have any promising
structural homolog for this protein I need to start the model building
from the scratch.
Has any one tried this approach before? Is there any automated
software to build or align secondary structural elements inside an
E-M. Image? Please share your experience and suggestions in this regard.
Thanks in advance
Satheesh
