hi kevin,

you should try to eliminate the xray scatter from the source before
wearing gloves. rigaku does have the leaded plastic sleeves to connect
the collimator to the meter while aligning so you don't need gloves at
all.

I used to use the ru-h model, but I heard that the model for the fr-e is
even better.

cheers,
jose brandao

Subject: [ccp4bb]: OT: X Ray protective gloves?

Does anyone know of a US source for X Ray protective rubber gloves that
will allow sufficient dexterity for use in aligning our X Ray? I used
to get them from MSC, but they don't carry them any more. Those gloves
also had a tendancy to tear easily, hence my current need.

Thanks
