I think would be better to diverge from the official tree letting both
ccp4 bindir and libdir as is.
I've been experience problems to patch the suite also. Let you me know
if u get around this.

On that note, I've been working on a Gentoo package some, but CCP4
doesn't really work well with the --bindir and --libdir arguments, half
of it ignores DESTDIR and the other half respects it, and it also enjoys
installing during the build rather than waiting for 'make install'. If I
ever find time to get it working properly, I'll post the patches.
