Post doc positions at Diamond Light Source

Positions are available to join the MX team within the Life Science division at the Diamond Light Source, the new UK synchrotron currently in the final stages of construction in Oxfordshire. We will have 3 state-of-the art macromolecular crystallography beamlines which we will be commissioning during 2006 in order to begin operations in 2007. Your duties will be to help commission the beamlines, in particular the experimental equipment, interact with our user community to develop and provide appropriate user support, and to take part in our in-house research projects which currently cover a wide range of projects from instrumentation through to membrane protein crystallography. We have busy but also exciting years ahead of us, and we count on you to be as enthusiastic as we are about the technical and scientific challenges we face. We look forward to welcoming you to Diamond.
