I'd like to remind the community that the deadline for applications to attend the EMBO funded PEPC5 practical course (see below) is approaching. ****************************************************************************** EMBO Practical course on Protein _expression_, Purification and Crystallisation (PEPC5) EMBL, Hamburg Outstation, 28th August - 5th September 2006. The course, intended for students in the early stages of their research career, will cover over-_expression_ of proteins in prokaryotic and eukaryotic systems, protein purification and characterization, crystallization techniques and determination of crystal quality. See There is no registration fee and accommodation and subsistence are covered for accepted applicants. Application is by the web based application form only. The deadline for applications is 15th May 2006.
