[ccp4bb]: how to explain this diffraction pattern?

I present a diffraction pattern here in this email as JPEG. The 
diffraction area ranges from about 47-27 A as a continuous thick ring 
around the beam stop. Does anyone know what kind of material could 
generate this diffraction?
