I was wondering if someone else has run into this same problem when running ccp4mg on os x, and has got a fix for it.
When I try to take a povray snapshot, or run povray, I always get the message "FAILED can not run povray". I have installed the generic unix version of povray, which can be invoked without apparent problems from the command line.
As an alternative I have tried to run povray outside ccp4mg with the command
povray +A +J0 +Q9 -geometry x+y input_file.pov
as from the tutorial, but all I get is a puny picture quite different from what I get when running ccp4mg under linux.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
