Post Doctoral Researcher - seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong interest in structure and function of macromolecular complexes. Position is with the Div. of Biological Sciences - Molecular Biosciences. The project aims to understand the assembly and dynamics of molecular machines involved in DNA/protein translocation across membrane in pathogenic bacteria and viruses by means of X-ray crystallography and electron cryo-microscopy. Requires a Ph.D. in biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related field, with a strong background in molecular biology and protein expression/purification.
