TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a scientific
Technician experienced in molecular biological and protein analysis techniques.
As a part of the protein chemistry section, you will be engaged in fundamental
research within different projects of structural and cellular biology related to
cancer research. You will be involved in the following
areas
¨
MOLECULAR
BIOLOGY: Cloning of DNA, _expression_ and purification of recombinant proteins in
bacteria and/or yeast.
¨
PROTEIN
CHEMISTRY: 2D gel analysis, Western Blotting, FPLC and HPLC, biophysical
measurements for protein characterization.
¨
DATA
MANAGEMENT: Handling different programs for data evaluation. Use of basic
computer programs such as spreadsheets, graphing, and word
processing.
The ideal candidate has comprehensive
experience in molecular biology and protein purification and a fundamental
knowledge of protein chemistry. Of course up to date training will be given here
on site. We expect you to be a good team player and to have good communication
and writing skills in English.
