PhD-scholarship at the Norwegian Structural Biology Centre (NorStruct), Department of Chemistry, University of Tromsø, Norway   A PhD-scholarship is available for a candidate with a background in structural/molecular biology. The project includes characterization of enzymes and regulator proteins involved in the Quorum sensing system of a fish pathogen. The PhD-student will be involved in recombinant protein production, characterization of the proteins by standard biochemical and biophysical methods, and crystallization and structure determination using X-ray crystallographic techniques.
