I see two notes on this on the bulletin board, but can't seem to recover
them from the archive library: (msg17905 and msg17907). (I can't get to
www.dl.ac.uk/list-archive-public/ccp4bb.)

I'm trying to run ccp4i from a remote site. I've

xhost + remotemachine

and

setenv DISPLAY localmachine:0.0

but I still get the "Application initialization failed: this isn't a Tk
applicationcouldn't connect to display "localmachine:0.0"
Error in startup scripts: can't read "tk_version": no such variable....

This seems to happen if I'm running on linux (red hat enterprise WS4)
locally and using a SGI IRIX6.5 remotely, but I also get it on a SGI
workstation locally to a remote SGI IRIX6.5.

It works fine locally on the linux workstations and SGI workstations.

Thanks!
