Is there an issue about using SSH1, SSH2, or OpenSSH? There is no option ssh -Y. "ssh -X" (or ssh +x) doesn't work either. Thanks...keep the suggestions coming. It seems that on a Mac, the problem was whether the X11 window was under bash or csh. I'm running under tcsh. The linux boxes could run under bash as well.
