Research Position in Structural Biology
The Nebraska Center for Structural Biology (NCSB) is seeking to fill one research positions. The NCSB is composed of several NMR and crystallographic laboratories at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the Eppley Institute for Cancer Research and Allied Diseases. The NCSB was created with the help of a Nebraska Research Initiative grant in 2004.

It provides expertise in protein _expression_, purification, and structure determination at the atomic level. Structure determination can be carried out with either X-Ray Crystallography or NMR. |

Applications are invited for the following position:
Research Technician for the Crystal Screening and Growth (CSG) lab. One position is available. Applicants should have experience in laboratory maintenance, protein chemistry and crystallization. Preference will be given to those with experience in crystallization robotics and/or diffraction data collection. B.S. or M.S. degrees preferred.
Experienced candidates with demonstrated motivation will be given top consideration. Candidates with degrees in Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, Biophysics or Biochemistry will be considered. The ability to communicate results, prioritize tasks and work in a diverse team environment is essential. The position is available immediately with annual renewal based on excellent performance. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
