We are seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join our technology development team focused on next generation antibody therapeutics. The major responsibilities of this position include but not limited to experimental design, execution, and characterization of engineered antibodies for antibody drug conjugation, antibody engineering to improve drug properties, lead antibody discovery, as well as providing antibody project teams with required antibody expertise and tools to support MEDI's therapeutic antibody programs. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge in therapeutic antibody field and should be well organized with excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills and able to manage several projects simultaneously. Experience: 3+ years of post-degree research experience with a proven record in antibody and/or protein therapeutics and technology development. The ideal candidate must be independent, creative, and highly self-motivated. Must have hands on in-depth experience in recombinant antibody discovery, protein/antibody engineering, as well as biochemical and biophysical characterization of antibodies. Antibody engineering for improving stability is strongly preferred and experience with high throughput screening is a plus. Special Skills/Abilities: Recombinant antibody discovery, antibody/protein engineering to improve stability, antibody/protein expression in mammalian cells, and biochemical and biophysical characterization techniques. Must be a team player with excellent communication skills.
