POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN PROTEIN CRYSTALLOGRAPHY A funded postdoctoral position is available at the University of Florida in protein X-ray crystallography. The area of research is the structural biology of natural product antibiotic biosynthesis with a focus on unique enzymology and macromolecule assemblies. The successful candidate will be part of a team using interdisciplinary approaches including synthetic organic chemistry and biochemistry to understand protein function (for example, see Nature, 2007, 447, p. 342-345). The applicant should have a Ph.D. degree in life sciences or related disciplines and a demonstrated record in macromolecular X-ray crystallography.
