Are you sure that there are actually 8 molecules in the AU? I have on more than one occasion calculated the expected number of protomers based on Matthews' coefficient, only to find the solvent content is higher than I bargained for.
This thought is stimulated by the fact that the solvent content of Philadelphia and environs is currently quite a bit higher than normal...
