Thanks for the recommendation.

Regarding the viewer, I would definitely recommend PV. It is quite easy to work
with. The only thing would be to understand the OpenGL restrictions on some
clients.

Subject: [ccp4bb] Java interfaces for analysing pdb files? And advertising a
great electronic lab notebook

Dear fellows

This message has two goals. One is to recommend eLabFTW as an electronic lab
notebook, either locally or over your network. I started using it years ago and
I don't keep notes on paper since then. It's extremely easy to use, free and
open source : http://www.elabftw.net

Right. The second goal is to ask you what's your preferred java interface for
viewing pdb files.

The developers of eLabFTW want to implement pdb viewing and they asked me
what's the best java interface among "3Dmol", "PV" and "JSmol". I simply have
no clue, since I never use those, but I guess someone in this mail list might
have suggestions?

All the best,

Carlos
