Prof Yaoqi Zhou’s group (http://sparks-lab.org <http://sparks-lab.org/> <http://sparks-lab.org/ <http://sparks-lab.org/>>) is building up a strong term for his molecular biology laboratory to interact with his computational structural biology laboratory at the Institute for Glycomics, Griffith University, Gold Coast, Australia. Initial exciting discovery in protein expression optimisation, antibiotic and cancer inhibitor discovery and protein design leads to the current expansion of the team. We are seeking highly qualified and motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellows (One computational and one experimental) who share a passion for scientific discovery to work in the area of RNA/protein structure/function prediction and novel techniques for protein expression optimisation in various host cells, and novel anti-cancer, anti-bacterial and anti-viral inhibitor discovery based on in-house designed proteins and peptides.
