A postdoctoral position is available in the Karakas lab at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Our group is interested in understanding the molecular mechanism of intracellular ion channels involved in calcium signaling using structural biology approaches. The applicants should hold a recent PhD degree in a relevant field and have experience in basic molecular biology and protein expression/purification. Experience in X-ray crystallography or electron cryo-microscopy would be a plus, but not required.
