Dear all, The National Center for CryoEM Access and Training (NCCAT - nccat.nysbc.org<http://nccat.nysbc.org>), a part of the Simons Electron Microscopy Center at NYSBC, seeks research associates, electron microscopists and research programmers to join our staff. Located in New York City, NCCAT provides nationwide access to cryoEM technology and training programs to increase to the development of cryoEM expertise.
The individuals will be part of a team supporting collection of high resolution data for user laboratories from around the nation. Qualities include being capable of multitasking, enjoying working with other people, comfortable around instrumentation, and an affinity for research projects. Good communication skills are essential. Scientist applicants should have a Masters or Ph.D., or equivalent experience in a science related field. Research programmer/systems administrator applicant responsibilities will also include helping design, implement, and maintain computational and operational infrastructure at the center, which will be scaling up rapidly over the next 1-2 years.
