post-doctoral position is available at the Brazilian Biosciences National
Laboratory - LNBio (http://lnbio.cnpem.br) in Campinas (São Paulo, Brazil) in
Dr. Andrea Dessen’s group. The position involves the structural and biochemical
characterization of protein complexes involved in bacterial cell wall
formation. Soluble, fiber-forming, and integral membrane proteins are members
of these complexes. This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities.
Candidates should have a recent PhD degree (obtained at less than seven years
ago) in Biochemistry, Structural Biology or related disciplines and have
published at least one research article in an international peer-reviewed
journal as the first author. Candidates should also have practical knowledge of
protein complex biochemistry and structure determination. Demonstrated
expertise in membrane protein biochemistry will be considered as a plus.
Applicants are asked to submit a short CV which should include: a list of
publications, a brief description of previous experience and names of referees
to Dr. Andrea Dessen ([email protected]) by August 16th, 2019.The
