Shanghai Institute of Plant Physiology and Ecology (SIPPE) is a top plant
research institute in China and internationally competitive. SIPPE focuses
on plant genetics, development, physiology, and plant-environment
interactions to answer important questions in both basic science and
applied research. SIPPE is located at the downtown area in Shanghai,
convenient for life and international travels.

Dr. Li Wan obtained his PhD in structure biology in Australia and worked as
a postdoc in plant pathology for nearly five years in USA. He just started
his research group at SIPPE. The research group will use a combination of
tools including plant genetics and molecular biology, and biochemistry and
structure biology to investigate the molecular mechanisms governing plant
immunity. For more information, please refer to

is well funded and will provide internationally competitive salary for
qualified candidates. Expected qualifications for the postdoc positions
include:

1, PhD in biology or physics
2, Research experiences using Cryo-EM as the main tool. Expertise in grid
preparation, microscope operation and data processing is essential.
