Hi everyone, Our lab is going through upgrades and some of our current equipment will lose its place in our workflow. Particularly, this is the case of 2 Crystal Farm(tm) imaging systems, that are in working condition but can't be integrated with the rest of our new equipment. It would be a shame to throw away perfectly functioning equipment so we would prefer to find them a new home (preferably by the end of March)!
Some general information about Crystals Farms(tm): "The Crystal Farm (tm) imaging system simplifies and automates protein crystallization by integrating incubation at chosen temperatures together with optical imaging of the crystal growth plates at predetermined intervals. At the core of the Crystal Farm is a high-resolution imaging system that can quickly and consistently image hanging, sitting, or micro-batch drops in virtually all plate types. System control and image analysis can be directly or remotely accessed via Crystal Navigator, Crystal Farm's scalable web-based software." Each Crystal Farm(tm) comes with its own computer, screen and keyboard. Both computers have the Crystal Navigator software already installed.
