The Murali Lab at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, is seeking a
Postdoctoral scientist/Research associate trained in X-ray crystallography
and/or protein biochemistry. This position is suitable for a fresh PhD graduate
eager to develop/strengthen skills in therapeutics development.

The laboratory works at the forefront of therapeutic discovery and focuses on
development of small-molecules against several immune and oncology-based
protein targets. Some of our ongoing projects involve development of molecules
against proteins such as GITRL, Onecut2, pathogenic Hyaluronidase, among
others. We are equipped with an array of instruments including a Rigaku
MicroMax 007-HF X-ray generator/RAXIS IV++ detector, SensiQ Pioneer SPR system,
NanoTemper Microscale Thermophoresis (MST), MicroCal PEAQ-ITC and Art Robbins
Gryphon and Scorpion robotics. More details about the laboratory can be found
at: http://cedars-sinai.edu/Research/Research-Labs/Murali-Lab/index.aspx

The ideal candidate would possess:

1)    Sound knowledge and experience in handling proteins including expression
and purification.

2)    Experience in protein crystallization and structure determination by
X-ray crystallography.

3)  Experience with SPR, MST and ITC for analyzing both protein-protein and/or
protein-small molecule interactions would be advantageous but not essential.

The position will be available for 2-3 years from July 2022.
