*Position description: *
We seek a highly motivated and enthusiastic research technician to join
the ALPX team.
ALPX is an EMBL Spin-off Company located in Grenoble, France. We offer
innovative research services based on the CrystalDirect technology for
structural biology and small-molecule drug discovery to the
pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
The successful candidate will be supporting a range of exciting drug
discovery projects by applying our high-throughput, automated X-ray
crystallography pipelines.
Ideally, you would be eager to deepen the knowledge in the field of
structure biology.
Responsibilities include laboratory and admin support, preparing
solutions and samples for X-ray crystallography, and comprehensively
document work progress and present within the team.
*Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:*
* Bachelor, Master or Technician degree
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Excellent//writing and speaking English
* Excellent documentation and organisation skills
* Effective interaction in a dynamic team environment
* Team player with the ability to work on several projects and conduct
experiments in parallel
* Motivation to learn new techniques and methods
*Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities:*
* Experience in macromolecular crystallography, including
crystallization and crystal optimisation
* Experience using robotics and automation
*
