Dear Tom,
Thank you for this most welcome news! The previous deadline was *nine
months* before the start of the meeting, that really didn't make sense. For
the last "normal" meeting in 2017, it had been February 28th, i.e. *six*
months ahead.
It rather looked like the Event Organiser tail wagging the IUCr2203
Congress dog :-) [1] .
