Dear Colleagues,
Some while back we had a bb thread on open science.
Meanwhile UNESCO have announced an initiative and subsequently been actively
discussing this involving various working groups looking into ways to implement
open science. I attended on behalf of the IUCr and have produced the attached
short report, including several weblinks. I imagine that aspects of these
UNESCO, and UN, activities may well be of interest.
Best wishes,
John
