Dear CCP4BB,
Since the #COVID pandemic, science has stepped into everyday life for a much
wider audience.

More and more scientists began breaking down tough ideas in clear, friendly
language through social platforms and other outlets. Some of them grew into
strong, recognizable voices who reached huge groups of people and made research
feel close, human, and easy to follow.

Proteintech is bringing several of these creators together for an upcoming
online event, Social Media and Science: From Connection to Collaboration,
happening on December 9th 05:00 PM Paris time, 2025.

This session brings forward five scientists who turned online spaces into
powerful tools for sharing knowledge, building community, and supporting others
in STEM:

Ben Rein, PhD (@dr.benrein) — Neuroscience explained with warmth, clarity, and
a large online audience.

Claudia Belliveau, PhD (@c.belliveau.science) — Honest stories about life
outside academia and support for women in STEM.

Marie-Joe Kimaz, M.S. (@labskillsacademy) — Lab skills, early-stage research,
and guidance for young scientists.

Alessia Golluscio, PhD (@ab_thescientist) — Cardiac research and creative
science videos.

Paige White, PhD (@paigeinscience) — Cancer gene regulation and new ways to
open research to the public.
