Dear CCP4BB readers, I am Vandan Raiyani, seeking a PhD position in structural biology. My research background is in protein biochemistry and structure–function analysis, with a particular focus on glycosylation and sialylation differences in recombinant proteins using mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF) and sequence/structural interpretation.
I am keen to pursue PhD research involving X-ray crystallography and/or Cryo-EM, and I am open to learning NMR as a complementary technique. My interests include glycoproteins, therapeutic proteins, and fundamental structural studies linking molecular structure to biological function. I have no location constraints and would be grateful to hear from labs currently recruiting, or planning to recruit, PhD students. Research assistant or pre-doctoral positions are also of interest.
