Learn why this is important<https://aka.ms/LearnAboutSenderIdentification> Hi everyone, Greetings from the Diffraction Methods Workshop in Berlin, where me and Gerard are pleased to let you know that, although it took a bit of time to arrange, the Proceedings of the EEC Cooperative Workshop on Position-Sensitive Detector Software (Phases I-III), held at LURE (Orsay, France) in 1986, are now available online. Phases I and II: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.12806090 Phase III: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.13312160 These reports were an important part of the history of MX data processing software, and a particular highlight is the first proposal of FFT-based indexing of diffraction patterns (Phase 3, Contribution 4). Thanks are due to Andrew Leslie, David Waterman, Graeme Winter, Gwyndaf Evans and David Thomas for help with tracing the history of this scan, even though we were ultimately unable to figure out the exact path this copy took to get to us. There were four more "Phases" of these workshops, which it would be fantastic to make available online as well. If anyone is in possession of a paper or scanned copy and needs help with this, I'd be happy to lend a hand.
