I think mine (from PCB Pool) was similar. Note that that's a very thin gold
alloy, picked for improving solderability. It's not the thick hard gold
plating you want for edge connectors.
If memory serves, PCB Pool offered either "hot air leveled tin" or gold alloy
plating for the traces. The latter is better for small parts because it's
flatter, and the price was either the same or close enough.
